Joann Fabric was at one time the largest retailer of
fabric in the United States. A few weeks ago they announced a major
cutback in the number of outlets they were operating.
Within
the last couple of days they have announced they are throwing in the
towel and closing down. That is a shame. I strongly suspect that
fabric is something that most buyers want to see and hold in their hand
before purchasing rather than buying off the net.
Market forces sometimes really suck.
