Three different Republican lawmakers in the formerly
great state of California have introduced bills to ban biological males
from competing in sports against girls and women in California.
Since
the Democrat-Socialist party in CA has a super-majority in both houses
of the legislature and since three different legislators are proposing
essentially the same thing it leads me to believe that these bills are a
HEY LOOK AT ME move and not a serious attempt to fix a problem.
The
California Interscholastic Federation, the sanctioning body for
interscholastic sports in CA, has already announced that they are NOT
going along with the evil Orange Man's order to ban biological males in
women's sports. As far as I know the CIF does not itself get any
federal funding, at least not directly. The schools however do. The
Trump administration MAY not have any muscle against the CIF, but it
sure as hell has muscle that can be brought to bear against the schools,
via funding, for those who do not want to go along with the program.
The
ball MAY be rolling in California. Maybe. We will see, and probably
pretty soon. Trump seems disinclined to let grass grow around his
feet.
