On December 6, 2021, Jamary Isaiah Brown, now 21, shot
16-year old Amarion Robinson to death in Georgia. Shot him 15 times in
fact. I guess there were probably 15 rounds in his pistol. He just
have been really pissed.
Seven
days ago Brown was sentenced to life. In Georgia that means he can
apply for parole consideration after 30 years. The victim's mother is
pissed. She wants her sons murderer to do life without parole.
Brown's
attorney worked the usual angles. His client had issues. He had a
poor upbringing. He had learning disabilities. These meant that he
should be cut some slack. It sort-of worked I guess, though 30 years in
prison in Georgia is probably not a picnic.
Brown
fled after the shooting but turned himself in four days later. The
cops had named him as a suspect and were actively looking for him.
Allegedly Robinson was a bully and had been being nasty to Brown's
brother and that was the cause of the shooting.
