Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth on Monday directed that the name of Fort Liberty be changed back to the original name, Fort Bragg. I suspect the Special Forces community is happy with the return to tradition.
EDITOR'S NOTE: In response to the George Floyd riots, the Defense Department in 2023 changed the names of military posts that were named after Confederate generals.
