Bondi announced Wednesday that the DOJ has filed charges against New York, Gov. Kathy Hochul, Attorney General Letitia James, and New York DMV chief Mark Schroeder for allegedly failing to enforce federal immigration laws.
Trump's A.G. has announced federal lawsuits against
Chicago, Cook County and Illinois as well as against New York for their
sanctuary city / county / state policies. She also said flat out the
California is in the cross-hairs.
The
formerly great state of California may find that their $50 million to
fight Trump is going to be chump change when the full weight of the
federal government starts dragging big wigs into court.
All
I can say is it is about time. Immigration law and policy are uniquely
and strictly federal. Local agencies have no legal authority to
undercut them.
Wouldn't
it be cool if the feds were to actually arrest a few elected lib-tards
and haul them in front of a federal judge for incitement to violate
immigration law or giving aid and comfort to undocumented democrats?
