The federal government has determined that U. C. Berkeley
is in fact a hive of anti-Semitism. Columbia also. Berkeley was the
only school in the formerly great state of California to make the top
five list. It seems likely that the feds are going to launch some sort
of investigation into this problem.
I
lived in the East Bay back during the 1960s. I spent more than a
little time at Sproul Plaza, Cody's and the Print Mint. The action at
that time (besides a lot of weed) was what I would call classic
liberal. Definitely left-wing, but they would listen to pretty much
anybody. Now if you are not part of the pro-Hamas anti-Semite club they
want to smash your face in. With a significant amount of backing from
the school administration.
It really is just plain damn depressing.
