ASSAULT WEAPONS BAN: BLAMING A PRODUCT FOR HUMAN MISCONDUCT

Jeff Reh, who is on the Beretta U.S.A. Corporation's Board of Directors, is upset with the State of Maryland where Beretta has a factory because the state is about to enact a strict gun control act which includes a ban on assault rifles and high capacity magazines, products that Beretta manufactures.

Reh says that “…..we are confronted with a state government that wants to ban our products at a time, by the way, when numerous other state governments are courting our investment. It is worth noting that these states also do not try to blame a product for human misconduct."

Blaming a product for human misconduct? How true! I could not have said it any better. The bottom line is that gun violence is the result of human misconduct and not the result of a mechanical device manufactured by Beretta, Colt, Bushmaster, Smith & Wesson, Sturm-Ruger, etc.
