A Houston mother drowned her two children in the bathtub, then hid their bodies by stuffing them under a neighbor’s house
A mother has confessed to the Houston police that she drowned two of her three children in the bathtub Friday. At first she tried to bury the kids in her yard, but when that proved to be too difficult, she hid their bodies by stuffing them under a neighbor’s house.
Sheborah Thomas, 30, has been charged with two counts of capital murder in the deaths of 5-year-old Kayana Thomas and 7-year-old O'Raylan Thomas.
The father of the murdered children is in prison. Sheborah also has a 12-year-old son, but he was away at his father’s home.
A friend saw Sheborah throw things out of her house Sunday morning. She told him she had to move and asked him to help her. When he asked where her kids were she told him she had killed them. Not believing what he had heard, he asked her again later and got the same reply. He drove her to within a block of a Houston police station, got out of the car and walked to the station to report the murders. The cops then busted Sheborah who confessed to the killings and told them where they could find the bodies.
Let’s see now … Friday, Saturday, Sunday with temperatures in the upper 90s. By Sunday it must have been stinko at the neighbor’s house. None of the reports I’ve read mention anything about the neighbor. Maybe he was overcome by the stench. Or maybe the neighbor and his wife both left the house, each thinking it was the other one who smelled so bad.
