The local constabulary here in Stockton (CA) has been having a bit of trouble of late with some clown on a sports motorcycle. He likes to get spotted by the cops and take off like a maniac when they chase him. He gets away a lot.
On Thursday the cops spotted him while at the scene of a traffic situation along Pacific Ave, between the malls and U.O.P. This is a very high-traffic area, both pedestrian and vehicle. A cop hung a U-turn and lit him up, at which time the bike took off. The cop didn’t even try to chase him due to the traffic.
This time, however, the outcome was different. The motorcyclist, Kristopher Marroquin, 23, had a close encounter of the loud and messy kind with the right rear quarter-panel of a SUV. They picked Marroquin up with a mop and a sponge and his bike up with a shovel. He must have REALLY been moving because he did significant damage to the SUV right at the rear axle.
Live fast, ride hard, die young and stupid.

Crotch Rockets are fast and they can come to a complete stop in a slit second.
Especially if they hit something that weighs eight or ten times more than they do.
