Mallard Filmore is a newspaper cartoon strip. It has a STRONG political lean to it, in the conservative direction. No question about it, it isn’t even remotely subtle. This morning it was missing from the local fishwrapper, the Stockton RECORD.
So, I shot an email to the editor and asked what happened. Interestingly enough, he gave me what seems to be an honest reply. He doesn’t like the constant barrage of anti-Hillary and anti-Trump shots taken by the cartoon strip, so he has pulled it until one week after the November election, replacing it with some inoffensive nothingburger.
See, sometimes liberals are willing to tell the truth. It’s rare, but it does happen.
