Bowe Burgdahl has elected to be tried by a single judge rather than by a military trial jury when his case comes around in late October. Bergdahl's mouthpiece has tried to get the case kicked based on Trump's campaign statements about his client. One of the questions the lawyer wanted to ask each member of a prospective trial board was who they voted for in the last election. That request was denied.
If this traitorous turd is found guilty he could become a lifetime guest of the people at Fort Leavenworth, which I understand is a truly lovely place.
EDITOR'S NOTE: I hope his sorry ass is found guilty by the judge and is given the maximum sentence for desertion.
His parents appeared with President Obama at the White House. Obama's National Security Adviser Susan Rice said that Bergdahl served with “honor and distinction.” And Obama traded five terrorists that had been held at Guantanamo for this deserter.
