Hurricane Michael came ashore near Panama City Beach as a category 4 or 5 (depending on who you ask) hurricane. It is moving fast so it will not dump a TON of rain but the wind and storm surge will be prodigious. This is supposed to be the worst storm to hit Florida in nearly 175 years.
On the news yesterday evening I saw two people old enough to know better who intended to ride it out on board their boat at the marina. I wonder if they made it out alive.
EDITOR'S NOTE: They survived onboard their boat but ended up in Georgia. Just kidding.
