South Salt Lake P D Officer David Romrell, 31, died this last Saturday night. He was deliberately run down by a fleeing burglary suspect. The passenger in the car was arrested. The driver, Felix Anthony Calata, did not live long enough to be arrested.
Officer Romrell is Marine Corp veteran and leaves behind a wife and a four-month old child. R.I.P. brother.

Felix Anthony Calata was a POS. They haven't determined how many times he was shot by police. As my old partner used to say, "That guy is DRT." (Dead Right There)
The passenger was taken down by police dogs and I hope they did their job well.
