The Camp Fire in Butte County has now claimed 77 lives, destroyed 10,000 structures, mostly single family homes, burned up 150,000 acres, left over 1,000 missing and poisoned the air in much of NorCal.
The Saturday night news reported that the air in the central valley and the bay area is now officially the most polluted on the planet, beating out Mexico City, New Delhi and parts of China and Bangladesh.
Fortunately it is supposed to get much better over the next 3-4 days with some wind (which the fire fighters will not appreciate) and a modest amount of rain.
The fire is only about 50% contained.
