A straphanger says a woman accused him of pleasuring himself on the subway, stabbed him and forced him to sprint across Upper East Side subway tracks to escape, police sources said Sunday.

The man, 29, reported he was aboard a downtown No. 5 train running between E. 86th and E. 59th St. about 8:30 p.m. Saturday when a man and woman sat near from him with a baby in a stroller, police sources said.

He told cops that as he stood with his hands inside his hoodie pockets, the woman told him to stop touching himself, police sources said.

“I’m not touching myself. Are you crazy?” the man responded, said the sources.

That led to an argument. Near E. 59th St., the woman whipped out a folding knife and stabbed the man in the arm, he told cops.

The man told cops that he bolted to the next car, and held shut one of the doors between the cars so the man and woman could not get near him.

At the E. 59th St. stop, the man reported, he rushed from the train and tried to climb up some stairs — but the man accompanying the woman who stabbed him grabbed his hoodie and yanked him back down, cops said.

Once the man got clear of the couple, the man said, he ran across the subway tracks — somehow avoiding touching any of the third rails — and escaped on another train.

Later, he walked into Queens Mount Sinai Hospital in Astoria, where he needed three stitches to close his wound, sources said.

There were no reports of delays on the Nos. 4, 5 or 6 lines on the Upper East Side on Saturday evening at the time of the incident.

Cops have not made any arrests.

Is it even illegal to choke your chicken on the subway in N Y?

You couldn't pay me to ride on a subway. That being said, I've been to New York City and I have no plans to return.
