There have been two riots in two days at the California State Hospitality Center, AKA Pleasant Valley State Prison. The riots occurred at different facilities within the prison and are allegedly unrelated. (Don't believe that.)
The Wednesday dust-up involved about 182 guests of the state on C-yard. Three inmates were shanked. None died.
The Thursday fun-and-games went down on B-yard and involved 41 of the boys. A combination of gas and a couple of warning shots shut that disturbance down. Three young gentlemen were injured.
Prisons will continue to be unpleasant places until we start incarcerating a better class of people.
