Wells Fargo is now being sued by an illegal alien who asserts that they turned him down just because he was an illegal alien. Wells Fargo responded that they were unable to verify his immigration status. The plaintiff, who apparently is a DACA person, is married and lives in Illinois. However, his DACA status will expire before the loan is scheduled to be paid off, making his continued legal presence in the US problematic. So they told him politely to kick rocks. Being a good wannabe American, he sued.

Bank of America used to cater to illegals. That has changed since Trump took office.
