In
a highly unusual move the formerly great state of California is
preparing to spend a tad over $500 million on forest management projects
BEFORE the fire season hits. This more than doubles the previous
spending per year on these projects, courtesy of the fact that CA has a
ton of extra money (despite all the poor-mouthing over the Covid plague)
and if there is anything Democrat-Socialists like to do it is spend
other people's money.
These plans include forest thinning and building fire roads and improving fire breaks.
The
tree-huggers will go batshit crazy, but it is just possible the
legislature will have the balls to tell them to sit down and shut up.
