My
little sister referred me to a bulletin board / forum site for my old
high school and I recently logged on. One of the things on it is an IM
MEMORIAM page.
A LOT of
the people I went to high school with are now dead. Another one died
just yesterday. I knew her. It is nice in a way to make some
peripheral contact with people I knew back then, but in a way it is also
a depressing reminder of my own mortality.
Internal conflict can be unsettling.
