But I Am Not Sure Anybody Cares
by Bob Walsh
Next month the nation's military and intelligence agencies are due to report to congress on Unidentified Flying Objects.
I
confess to being a semi-reformed skeptic. I had some marginal, minimal
connections to Project Bluebook years ago. I have looks at but not
slavishly followed some of the more interesting and semi-credible
reports.
The earth is in a
small corner of the galaxy. We have only been sending out I AM HERE
messages since 1939. We have only been looking for extra-terrestrial
signals about half of that time. So far, zilch. Our nearest neighbor
is a long ways away. Unless they have managed a way to effectively
travel faster than light getting here and getting information back is a
long boring trip.
In the
last few years more and more UFO reports have been coming from reliable
sources, as opposed to drunk hillbilly fisherman. We have decent
high-speed images and reports from military aircraft and naval ships.
These things seem to show real aircraft that seem to be able to operate
beyond the realm of what we currently believe is possible with our level
of knowledge of aeronautical engineering and propulsion.
I
am left with the following thoughts. One. All the sightings are by
drunks, idiots or crazy people. Not a realistic conclusion. Two. All
of the sightings are due to explainable if rare phenomenon. We are
getting more and more hard sightings including high speed surveillance
footage that seem to create images that are hard to explain away,
including especially the San Diego footage from 2019. Three. These
are real craft created by the U S or foreign governments as part of
top-secret projects. This also seems a bridge too far. These things do
too many things that we just can't figure out how they work. Too many
people would be involved in such a project to keep it totally secret for
years and years. Four. They are non-terrestrial craft being directed
by some sort of intelligence for purposes we don't understand.
Explanations
one, two and three are IMHO not supportable any more. My brain is
having trouble with number four. Maybe Demi Moore really is one of
THEM She is from Roswell after all. But THEY don't have a Twitter
account or a Facebook page so they can not really be real.
Will we find out next month? Maybe. Will we care? Maybe not.

Bob, I like your report. I think theirs will be similar.
