All things considered matricide is found on in most societies and most moral codes. Sometimes, however, there are limits.

Willis, then 17, stands accused of first degree murder for shooting her
in the head while she slept. It seems that, back in April of LAST YEAR
in Anderson County, Tn. It seems that he snuck into her bedroom, got
the unloaded gun and ammo, left the room, snuck back in and shot her in
the head.
He was really, really pissed because she confiscated his cell phone earlier in the day.
At least he didn't kill her over some trivial shit.
