Texas 'Karen' ends up using N-word while slamming NWA lyrics at school board meeting
Things took a weird turn at Texas’ Leander Independent School District's board meeting on September 9 during the citizen's comments section of the night. A White woman took to the mic to complain about rap lyrics apparently being used in an English class. In order to make her point, she decided to rap lyrics from NWA’s popular anti-police song 'Fuck Tha Police' using the N-word in the process.
The video, which has now gone viral on social media and is sure to give one second-hand embarrassment, has been slammed by many people who called out the woman as a 'Karen'. Before narrating the verse from 'Fuck tha Police', the 'Karen', who has been identified as just Cheryl, thanked the police, some of whom were in attendance at the meeting.
"Officers - I hope they’re in here listening - and by the way, we appreciate you. The same hypocrites sitting in front of us that hate you, still call you when they feel threatened," the woman said. "You cannot make this stuff up. And, of course, we are seeing the hypocrisy of the left all around the country."
Then she read out the lyrics, "I don’t know if they fags or what/ Search a (N-word) down and grabbing his nuts And on the other hand, without a without a gun, they can’t get none/ But don’t let it be a black and a white one/’ Cause they’ll slam ya down to the street top Black Black police showing out for the white cop/ Ice Cube will swarm on any motherfucker in a blue uniform/Just ’cause I’m from the CPT, punk police are afraid of me s young (N-word) on the warpath/ And when I’m finished, it’s gonna be a bloodbath."
Offended by the lyrics, she then said, "This is in your curriculum," she continued, "How do you defend that? Are you proud? Your curriculum. This is what you’re teaching our kids. It’s sick."
Needless to say, the video has caused quite a stir on social media. "Omg, are people seriously still complaining about this shit? Just dont listen to it, you fucking nitwits. FREE SPEECH, BITCH," one user wrote on Reddit. Another said, "She even pronounced the N-word correctly within the context of the song and everything!! Karen is a secret gangsta!" One said, "All the cringe."
According to the Daily Dot, the issue is from the spring semester when parents accused the district of including 'Fuck tha Police' in the list of approved resources for teachers. In an April Facebook post from TEACH Parental Rights Coalition, they called out the Leander ISD. “This is *not* appropriate for the classroom,” read the post. “What are the curriculum developers thinking?”
On Reddit, some defended it being included in the curriculum. "Fuck Tha Police has significant and strong historical underpinning and absolutely should be discussed in school. As evidenced by this lady, its still tilting motherfuckers 3 decades later,” wrote @Halvus_I on Reddit. Another took a jab, "Once again, conservatives imagine school is much, much cooler than reality."

Leander, Texas is a growing conservative city. It is also where Texas placed it's State Reserve since removing state money and precious metals from the Federal reserve several years ago. I'll bet the curriculum will be removed. Probably some California transplant brought it with them.
