Prince Andrew, known universally as Randy Andy in his younger days, has been forced by the Queen to relinquish all his military ranks and titles and his position on various royal charities.  This action came after a U S Federal Judge declined to throw out a civil suit against him personally, arising out of the Jeffrey Epstein case.  Andrew can no longer call himself His Royal Highness.  He must have really pissed off the Queen.  It was obvious from the statement from the statement that this is NOT meant to be a temporary thing.

Prince Andrew, 61, also known as the Duke of York, is a bachelor and war hero having flown helicopters on active duty where people were getting shot at in the Falklands.

Andrew is accused of rape of an underage female, Virginia Giuffre. He claimed to have never met her until photos of the two of them together surfaced.  

It is still possible he will beat the rap.  There are some jurisdictional issues.  In addition Epstein payed her $500,000 go-away money, which was to include not only Epstein but any other "potential defendants."
