About
two years ago the formerly great state of California passed a law that
required businesses headquartered in CA to have at least one and
possibly as many as three members on their board who are members of
underrepresented communities. This might include open homosexuals,
transsexuals, left-handed Lithuanian alcoholic child molesters, dog
nappers, insurance salesmen and other people who do not normally land on
the board. The Secretary of State would have the power to fine
companies who did not comply..
A
Los Angeles County Superior Court judge ruled about three days ago that
this has serious problems with equal protection under the law and other
issues along those lines. It is not clear yet what steps the state
will take, if any, to appeal.

Left-handed Lithuanian alcoholic child molesters? Both of them?
