Graham Brady, chairman of the Committee of Tory backbenchers,
announces that Boris Johnson has survived an attempt by Tory MPs to oust
him as party leader following a confidence vote in his leadership at
the Houses of Parliament
Boris Johnson survived a no-confidence vote from his own
party by about 148-211 assuming I heard it right. A lot of the reason
people were pissed at him was his holding no-mask parties at his
official residence during the height of the Covid lockdown.
That old "rules for thee but not for me" bullshit makes the peons unhappy.
