Crew of robbers sought in 26 NYC stick-ups: cops

A crew of robbers are being sought in connection to 26 stick-ups across Upper Manhattan and the Bronx, cops said Friday.
Police are seeking a total of four men in connection to the spree that covered both the north and south Bronx – as well as the Fort George section of Manhattan – beginning on May 26 and ending on June 2, police said.

In the first incident, shown on surveillance footage released by cops, three of the suspects got out of a black Volkswagen sedan at Wallace and Mace avenues in Allerton around 12:15 a.m. May 26 and approached a 42-year-old man, authorities said.
The clip shows the trio punching the victim and grappling with him. They snatched a Gucci bag and $120 from him before taking off, cops said.
The thieves netted more than $1,000, metal chains, cell phones and a designer bag during their spree, police said.
Three additional robberies happened on May 26, 10 on May 29, four on May 30, seven on May 31 and one on June 2, authorities said.
One of the men is described as about 20 years old and 160 pounds and 6 feet tall, with a dark complexion, brown eyes and short dark hair. He was last seen wearing a dark colored Nike hooded sweatshirt.
The second suspect is also around 20 years old, with a dark complexion, thin build and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, dark colored pants, a black balaclava mask and multi-colored sneakers.
Another suspect is described as an adult male with a dark complexion and thin build. He was last seen wearing red pants, a white T-shirt and multi-colored Nike sneakers.
The fourth member of the crew has a dark complexion and was last seen wearing a black balaclava mask and a hoodie.
