Damien Sanderson (L) and Myles Sanderson have been identified as the slashers in the stabbings
The authorities north of the
border at looking very hard for a pair of brothers, Damien and Miles
Sanderson, for at least ten murders, most of them committed on a Cree
Nation reservation near Weldon in Saskatchewan. At least ten other
people are known to be injured. The weapons involved were knives.
The bad guys were last seen near Regina according to the RCMP.
Myles,
30, has been sought by the constabulary since May for being "unlawfully
at large." The Mounties are not talking much, but the tribal police
are openly speculating that there is drug involvement.
The incident started rolling about 0540 hours on Sunday.
It's a good thing nobody had a gun with which to defend themselves, or someone might have gotten hurt.
