Seattle School Board members
The Seattle Public School District has filed a suit
against TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Snapchap and Youtube asserting that
they are accountable for mental health issues among school age youths.
It apparently has, in their warped minds, NOTHING to do with the fact
that the administrators and teachers unions did everything they possibly
could to keep students OUT of schools the last two years and force them
to wear face diapers (masks) when they were in school.
Perhaps
if the students had been in school and able to interact normally
instead of being forced into social isolation they wouldn't have so many
problems. Maybe the school has run thru the Covid relief money and now
wants to rip off the media idiots for more. Not that I am that fond of
the tech giants, but his is very much like the armed robber suing his
victims because they didn't have enough money tp steal so he could buy a
new Tesla.
There are
also literally hundreds of suits filed against the tech giants by
individual parents. At least they may have some sort of standing and
possibly even some level of respectability. As far as I am concerned
the schools have none.
EDITOR'S NOTE: By filing this absurd law suit, the Seattle School Board shows it is suffering mental health issues, not the students.
