The election for the chair of the RNC that I wrote about a few days back
is over. Ms. McDaniel won re-election and will now be the
longest-serving chair since the unpleasantness between the states. She
has said that this will be her last term and chair. Ms. Dhillon was
clearly not happy but acknowledged that Ms. McDaniel won, though implied
very strongly that she used organization resources including money to
ensure her reelection. Life is hard, and sometimes unfair, and you
can't always get what you want.
