Randall Lee Allenbaugh, 31, was
convicted this week of two counts of first degree murder in the knifing
deaths of two teenagers in Lodi about 16 months ago. The victims were Chimera Skaggs, 16, and Skyler McConnell, 17. The
sentencing will be on June 12 but since the D. A. did not prosecute as a
death penalty case there will not be a lot of variation in the possible
sentence. He will get either life or LWOP. However it doesn't really
matter because LWOP does not really exist in CA any more. IF you get
old enough or sick enough or have served "enough" of your sentence you
are at least eligible for parole consideration even if your sentence is
Life Without Parole. |
