According to the broadcast news this morning Gavin Newsom, God-Emperor
of the formerly great state of California, is the ONLY governor who has
refused to meet with representatives from the Western States Petroleum
Association. He has been using the "big oil companies" as a whipping
boy, blaming corporate greed for high prices of gas in CA. The
petroleum producers are, as one might expect, blaming the high taxes and
shitty business climate for the high prices in CA. You may decide for
yourself who you think is being truthful.
