The federal court in Texas that is overseeing the Boeing 737 Max mess has just made an interesting mood. The court has refused to OK the final settlement until they get some solid assurances that the monitor to be appointed as part of the settlement will be a technically competent individual and not a DEI hire. Maybe there is some hope for the republic yet.
