TALK ABOUT BALLS OF BRASS

So, six days ago this guy and his wife step out of their house in the middle of nowhere, Ontario, to look for their dogs.  They are immediately challenged by a polar bear, who starts moving towards the woman.  Dude launches himself at the bear and goes hand to "hand" with the freaking polar bear to defend his wife, who tripped over herself trying to beat feet.  

All the ruckus roused out a neighbor, who was smart enough to come out with a rifle and put a few holes in the polar bear.  The bear promptly retreated and died.  The man suffered serious but non-life threatening wounds.  

Not real smart going out unarmed under the circumstances, but I have to give the guy credit for protecting his wife.  He should get the BIG BRASS BALLS award of December.
