California state senator Scott Wiener is a “drag queen advocate” and has already raised $1 million for his campaign to fill Nancy Pelosi's seat in congress.
CA state senator Scott Wiener
has proposed SB607 which may make it onto the next state ballot. This
proposal would generate a bond issue of $23 billion dollars, which
typically would cost the tax payers about $46 billion to retire. The
purpose of the bond fund is to support scientific research within the
formerly great state of California. This is apparently necessary
because Donald Trump is mean and refused to provide federal funding to
investigate the effect of cocaine on rodents or transsexual bowling
leagues.
It isn't real
clear how much traction this is likely to get, especially as Wiener is
very busy running for Nancy Pelosi's seat in congress.
