Yesterday
the Director General of the BBC, Tim Davie, and the CEO, Deborah
Turness, both resigned. It seems that a "news" broadcast of Donald
Trump on the BBC was edited deliberately, by blending portions of two
different speeches made on two different days, to deliberately make it
appear that he was encouraging the "insurrection" at the nations capital
on January 6.
Trump is
threatening legal action. He may have some legitimate claim, though I
admit I have no idea how the laws on that sort of think work in the
U.K. Of course I guess he could always sue them over here. After all
they do have a corporate presence here.

Talking heads are saying he is suing. $1 billion. He just may get it.
