HF 3433 has just been proposed
in the Minnesota legislature. This bill would ban the sale, transfer or
possession of a whole bunch of semi-automatic rifles.
There
would be a grandfather clause, BUT any such weapon must be specifically
registered with the state. Part of that registration process includes a
waiver by the owner granting the cops authority to enter their place of
residence to inspect the weapon and see that it is stored safely as
prescribed by the government.
Gee, I don't see how anything bad could result from that. (Typed with massive insincerity.)
