LESS THAN 7 WEEKS UNTIL E-DAY

Assuming my math is correct the election will be held in 50 days.  I don't know if it is the fires or what but my supply of brain supplement, Rainier Lager (formally Rainier Ale, aka Green Death) is interrupted.  The stuff is now made in Irwindale and maybe the trucks can't make it thru the smoke.

I am looking forward to the "debates" though I still have no strong expectation they will actually occur.  It looks like Joe Biden is using a TelePrompTer and an ear bud both to handle routine, planted, scripted questions in his alleged "press conferences".  One of his talking heads went 5150 and refused to answer when he was asked about this appearance.  I therefore believe the assertion is true.  The rules of the debates do not allow the use of notes, TelePrompTers or ear buds during the debates.  I still more than half suspect that Joe's handlers will come up with some last-minute excuse to back out, trying hard to make it Trump's fault in the process.

In some states the ballots are already going out.  There may be 130 million votes cast.  If we are lucky 100 million of them will be proper votes cast by legal voters, and maybe even only one each.

This is a big deal.  America, as it is currently constituted, is the most free and most prosperous nation on the face of the planet.  There are a lot of people who do not like that.  They truly believe that freedom and liberty are evil, and prosperity is bad because it is not distributed equally across the country, or even across the planet.  They believe that our rights are granted by the government and can be taken away by the government at will.  The brilliant, brave people who founded this country did not believe that.  They believed our rights belonged to US, just because we were sucking air.  They believed that government existed to enforce those rights and that those rights could only be abridged under very limited conditions and situations.  

The progressive-deconstructionist assholes believe that it is their right and maybe even their obligation to piss on the parade of people they don't like, people who they disagree with politically, in order to force them to be quite and go away.  They want voters to believe that the bullshit will continue to the day of the election, and if Biden is not elected will continue forever if Biden is not elected.  And maybe even if he is, according to Kamala Harris.  She thinks that would be a good thing.  She has said so.  I saw her say it.

Do you want the country to look more like Venezuela, or even Portland, or do you want things to be more or less peaceful?  Do you want to be able to buy shit in the local stores, or do you want the local stores to be burned to the ground by mobs of spoiled rich White assholes in masks throwing M-80s into puddles of gasoline?  Decisions are made by people who show up.  Try to make a competent, informed decision based on enlightened self-interest.  Get your head out of your ass, engage your brain, do a little critical thinking and then vote.  .
