The woman who hurled a bottle and spouted a racial epithet at a Queens jogger last week was arrested Monday and is facing hate crime and harassment charges, cops said.
Lorena Delaguna, 53, threw a glass bottle at Tiffany Johnson — and
yelled “Get out of here, Nigger, go back to Africa!” — as she was on her
run at 53rd Place and Broadway in Woodside at about noon on Aug. 17,
video released by the NYPD shows.
“It’s a hate crime,” Johnson previously told The Post. “It’s not acceptable. She has to be [held] responsible for her behavior.”
Johnson said at first she thought her attacker had mistaken her for somebody else, but then realized “she could see the color of my skin and she reacted to that.”
Delaguna was arrested at her home and charged with attempted assault and aggravated assault as a hate crime. She was taken to Queens Central Booking for arraignment.
“I’m glad the video surfaced so, hopefully, she won’t do this to someone else,” Johnson had said. “People shouldn’t have to deal with that type of behavior.”

It is much harder to get away with assholeish behavior these days when everybody and their dog has a cell phone camera.
