A
WW II B-25 Mitchell (twin engine medium bomber) that had recently taken
place in some fly overs at Pearl Harbor made a belly landing in a field
near the Stockton airport just about sundown on Sunday evening. There
were three people on board. Two were sufficiently injured to require
hospital treatment.
The plane, as one might expect, was badly damaged
but did not catch fire so it MIGHT be repairable. There is in fact an
business at the Stockton airport that works on these WW II era
aircraft.
