TRUMP IS CLOSING THE GAP IN THE POLLS

It's the riots, stupid!

"Despite the riots – Trump is closing the gap in the polls," Channel 13's Udi Segal said on Tuesday. Segal, who similar to the majority of Israeli journalists learn about the United States from the New York Times or CNN – media outlets that have sacrificed their journalistic integrity on the altar of insatiable hatred for Trump – is missing the salient point: Trump is gaining in popularity not despite the riots, but because of them.

The riots in the US, which began around three months ago over the killing of George Floyd by a police officer in Minneapolis, ignore the elephant in the room: By an overwhelming margin, blacks are killed by other blacks, not by police. Although there are 4.5 times more whites than blacks in the US, FBI statistics show that blacks commit more murders than whites. Meanwhile, more white people (46%) die at the hands of police than black people (29%).

These facts don't stop the protesters from crying "Death to America" [in Oakland], "Kill the Police" and "Burn it down" [the White House and Senate]. Some of the rioters sought to turn their words into action by trying to lynch Senator Rand Paul and his wife after they left Trump's acceptance speech at the White House. The overriding sense that these protests are not authentic, rather are organized and funded, is supported by figures released by the police in Wisconsin, where more riots have recently erupted: 60% of the people arrested are not Wisconsin residents, rather entered the state from 44 different cities across the country. In other words, these are professional agitators who make a living by clashing with police and sewing destruction and chaos.

Joe Biden and the Democrats, for a long time, turned a blind eye to the violent riots being perpetrated by their supporters, while members of Biden's campaign even helped some of rioters post bail. At the same time, the Democrats expressed enthusiastic support for drastically defunding police departments in Democratic districts. The result: a 40% drop in the number of arrests in New York City compared to the same time period last year; and a 180% spike in the number of shootings and 60% increase in the number of murders in the city. This resounding "success" is being exported to other Democrat-run cities where crime is rampant.

The mainstream media in the US is devoted to distorting the violent nature of the riots, but the lie appears to be missing the mark: 42% of white suburban voters are worried that a Biden victory will undermine their personal safety, while black support for Trump has soared to 24% – three times the support he received from black Americans during the 2016 presidential election.

The Democrats were alarmed by the polls, and Biden finally remembered to denounce the rioting, but a new spin was quickly born: The riots are Trump's "race war" – that is to say Trump, the Republican, is to blame for the violence being perpetrated by far-left organizations ANTIFA and Black Lives Matter. Biden perhaps forgot that during his tenure as Barack Obama's vice president, similar bloody riots erupted in the US, in which cops were murdered.

"How, pray tell, is Trump responsible for riots that were started and continue with the goal of ending his presidency?" pondered Michael Goodwin of the New York Post. "If there are bad cops on their forces, why didn't the mayors supporting Biden remove them …  virtually all these cities engulfed in destabilizing turmoil are in blue states and are run by Democratic mayors."

Yup, several reputable polls are now showing Trump very close to, or even ahead, of Joe the Hairsniffer in many battle-ground states. And of course none of these allow for the "closet Trump" voter. If Trump can legitimately announce a vaccine before Halloween he may be in a very good place electorally speaking.
