The upstate yoga instructor accused of killing her twin sister by driving their SUV off a cliff in Hawaii is fighting extradition from New York to face a murder charge.

A lawyer for 38-year-old Alexandria Duval said Friday during her court appearance in Albany County Court it’s “highly likely” that her case is headed to an extradition hearing.

Duval — who at first dodged a murder rap when a judge said there was no probable cause — was tracked down in Albany and arrested a week ago outside her home, where she allegedly tried to run from state troopers.

A grand jury in Hawaii indicted her last month on a charge of second-degree murder. She is being held in lieu of $3 million bail.

Authorities say Alexandria was driving an SUV on May 29 with her sister, Anastasia Duval, in the passenger seat when the vehicle crashed into a rock wall and fell about 200 feet.

The sisters were fighting over the steering wheel, authorities said.

Over the summer, after leaving Hawaii, Alexandria was busted on a drunken-driving charge in the upstate New York town of Stamford after she careened into oncoming traffic and nearly hit a police car, authorities said.

Her blood-alcohol content was more than three times the legal limit, officials said. She spent three weeks in jail for the incident, ABC News reported.

Alexandria Duval’s attorney says the Hawaii crash was a “heart-shattering” tragedy.

The sisters, who had been local celebrities in Palm Beach, in 2013 made a pitch for a reality TV show starring themselves.
