Texas boy Josh Brown, 11, is being praised by his community and awarded a police medal for tying the shoelaces of an Honor Guard during a Fourth of July parade in Arlington, Texas.
The boy saw Officer Jerrick Wilson walking while holding an American flag and an officer approached him and asked him to tie Wilson's shoelaces. Josh then ran into the procession to tie his loose shoelaces as the officers smiled, touched by the boy's act of kindness.
A photo of Josh's good deed has gone viral on Facebook.
Chief Will Johnson of the Arlington Police Department thanked Josh for his deed and will honor him with a Chief Challenge coin next week.
