Tom Steyer is a very wealth man who hails from the People's Republic of California. He hates Donald Trump and believes he should be impeached. He used a buttload of his own money to by TV commercials to say so. He also swore twelve ways from Sunday that he was NOT entering the race for president.
He lied. He re-evaluated his position. He flopped. Whatever. He announced yesterday that he IS in fact now running for president. He believes so firmly that Donald Trump is the anti-Christ and must be destroyed that he is putting $100 million of his own money into the race.
Of course if he wins, that means Donald Trump will NOT be president any longer and cannot be impeached. He may be rich, but maybe he isn't too damn smart.
