Manson family killer Bruce Davis is to be released on parole from a California prison. The 76-year-old was cleared for release following a five-hour parole hearing at the California Men's Colony in San Luis Obispo on Friday morning.

Debra Tate,66, the sister of murdered actress Sharon Tate, tells DailyMail.com that he should not be released and is a 'domestic terrorist'. Kay Martley, 82, the cousin of murdered musician Gary Hinman, says that Davis is 'a danger to the public'. Both women were at Davis' parole hearing on Friday.

Manson Family killers Bobby Beausoleil and Leslie Van Houten were cleared for release this year but the decision was overturned by the California governor. Martley and Tate hope governor Gavin Newsom will do the same with Davis.
