A video of State Representative Rebekah Warren's DUI arrest shows her failing a field sobriety test, telling officers her arrest is "going to be the most famous arrest you've ever made."

The video, obtained by WXYZ (Channel 7) through a public records request, captures the representative, D-Ann Arbor, swerving before hitting the guardrail as the police vehicle approached.

Officers asked Warren to perform a standard field sobriety test, which she fails. She then refused a field breathalyzer test. Warren was taken to a hospital nearby for a blood alcohol test, which showed her blood alcohol content was .212, nearly three times the legal 0.08 limit, according to WXYZ.

"You don't understand, I'm elected. I'm a senator. People will be, like, the senator got arrested. That'll be, like, (expletive). This is going to be the most famous arrest you've ever made," Warren can be heard saying in the video.

Warren was driving the 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee northbound on I-75 Dec. 26 when she was arrested by Auburn Hills Police. Warren had told police she drank at an event and was returning home to Ann Arbor, Auburn Hills Police Lt. Ryan Gagnon told the Free Press.

"I made a stupid mistake; I drank alcohol and got into my vehicle to drive. I apologize to those impacted by my actions. Most importantly, I am extremely grateful that I did not hurt anyone," Warren said in a statement after the incident.

She said she takes full responsibility for her actions and "will do everything I can to guarantee that this never happens again.”

Warren could not immediately be reached for comment.

At least she didn't threaten the cops. Stupid drunk, but not crazy stupid drunk.
