A few talking heads on the magic box are now asserting that there is a semi-formalized effort to draft N Y Governor Andrew "Fredo" Cuomo AS THE VICE PRESIDENT TO JOE BIDEN. If you follow politics at all you will know that Senile Joe gave a full-throated promise that, when /. if he became the candidate he absolutely positively would have a female running mate.
Clearly the Democrat-Socialist power structure does not want to "waste" what they believe will be a sure upcoming presidency on a mere woman (they are not really as woke as they claim to be) and want to take the choice out of Senile Joe's hands.
The choice of V P is by tradition sort-of left up to the nominee, but only sort-of. FDR had no use for Harry Truman, but had to dump Henry Wallace and take Truman in his place in 1944. JFK detested LBJ, but the power structure insisted. Turned out to be a good thing, JFK might very well have lost if every grave yard in Texas and Illinois hadn't voted for him. It is generally acknowledged that Joe Biden wasn't anywhere near Obama's first pick for VP.
Democracy is messy, and not nearly as democratic as you might think.
