Yes, the new Amazon Scooby-Do movie just being released
brings Velma out of the closet. The writer(s) assert that the Velma
character has always been gay despite a boyfriend in the last movie, due
to the powers that being wanted to downplay that issue. Now it is up
and out.
Will anybody care? Will anybody care if nobody cares? Does that mean the dog will stop leg-humping her?
