At about 9 p.m. on April 13 this
little morality play ran out in Detroit. Deon Ray Thomas had ordered
some food delivered. It was delivered to the wrong address. Thomas
went over and talked with (confronted?) the people who took delivery of
his grub. It got nasty and Thomas pulled out his gat and started
throwing lead. A total of more 30 shots were exchanged and the cops
retrieved four guns at the scene. A 31-year old man and two 14-year old
boys were wounded inside the house. A 36-year old woman inside the
house was unharmed.
Thomas
is in custody facing four counts of assault with intent to murder. He
is looking for $500,000 bail money. I wonder if anybody will start a
GoFundMe account for him? I sort of doubt it.
I
am guessing all of the dramatis personae are Black as this took place
in Detroit and I suspect if any White folks were involved the news would
have mentioned it. Plus I am not completely sure there are any White
people in Detroit any more.

I don't trust food to be delivered to my home by an unknown person. Open a can of Wolf Brand Chili from the pantry. It also upsets my dogs.
