Shortly after the Bruen decision a number of states,
including the formerly great state of California, passed "Fuck You"
legislation which greatly restricted the places you could actually carry
a gun if you had a permit. They did this by broadly expanding
"sensitive places" to include pretty much everything except a public
street right in front of your house, unless you lived too close to a
school, church, bar or pretty much anything else.
Acting
yesterday Judge Cormac J. Carney of the U. S District Court, Central
District of California, Southern Division, enjoined the state and the A.
G. from enforcing the legislation, SB2, as being unconstitutional.
The A. G., Ron Bonta, has already announced that he will appeal. Fuck him. And the donkey he rode in on.
