So this happened yesterday in the greater Sacramento area. It started
raining geese. Dead, somewhat cooked geese. Apparently a lightning
strike during a thunder storm hit the flock and dropped a number of very
dead, smoking geese into the streets. No property damage was noted. I
am guessing a goose dropping from a few hundred feet could put a
serious ding in your car roof.
